Thank you for interest in volunteering at East Side Little League. This registration session is the first of a two-step process this year in order to stay compliant with Little League’s volunteer requirements. On the next few pages you will be asked to provide some basic information, sign a few waivers and, for new volunteers at ESLL, provide the three (3) required PA state clearances that are required by Pennsylvania for volunteers serving youth organizations along with a copy of your drivers license.
Please note that PA State clearances are valid for five (5) years. If you have previously provided this information to ESLL within the past five (5) years and do not expire prior to 8/31/24, you will have the option within this registration to acknowledge that your clearances will be valid thru the end of the season. If the league determines it does not have valid clearance information on file, you will be asked to resubmit the forms.
Upon completion of this registration, ESLL officials will upload your basic information into the JDP background check system (a third party company partnering with Little League). Volunteers will receive an email within two (2) weeks with a link to complete the Little League Volunteer Application form through JDP’s secure online system and acknowledge that JDP will run a national background check as required by Little League. All information will be kept strictly confidential and not used for any purpose other than compliance with Little League guidelines.
No payment is required for this Volunteer Registration. Please note that positions are not guaranteed but registration is required in order to be eligible to participate as a volunteer.
